    3. Bob, I'm getting old feeble and slow, and this has been a more-than-busy week, so I neglected to tell you that I have privately e-mailed two well-known and highly competent friends with better sources and more knowledge if they can help w/your request. They're not as old and slow as I, but I've not heard from them yet, though I expect that I will soon. Your Burneys and Bowens do not appear to be in FL PIONEERS AND THEIR DESCENDANTS, VOL. I (published by FSGS, 1992). There are eight Bowens in the excellent FLORIDA REGISTRATION LISTS 1867-68 (published by the Tallahassee GS, 1992). There is a Wright W. Bowen in the latter book in Precinct 3, Hernando County, but if your Wright/Right A. really was killed, he wouldn't have been in there anyway. I was checking the legend to see if he perhaps had survived. This result, of course, proves nothing either way. If you like, I'll query the archives to see if one of the Bowen/Burney connection might have been proved as a FL Pioneer since the book came out. Let me know. In the meantime, I'll wait to hear from the other two queries I've got out. As to the FL Deaths online, not that I've heard of. (Devoutly to be wished, but....) Have you tried the indexed FL USPC for 1910 to narrow their deaths down to a decade? I'll be glad to check when I can get to the library again, since they probably were dead by 1922, but one never knows. Good luck! --Brian Michaels P.S. You've really flourished in CA for more than thirty years? That's hardy Florida stock! *********************************************** Robert Keating wrote: > > Researching Bowen, DeSha, Parrish, Whitehead,(FL, GA), Keating, O'Leary, (KY), > Cosner, Crotty (PA) > > Is there a FL Death List on line?
