Hello Brian and List: I would like to thank everybody who wrote with suggestions on finding the information I am looking for........ I am surprised that the hospital would tell me the records are destroyed after seven years...... in writing, in a letter from them! I just took them at their word. Maybe they are unaware the records are at the archives. I will be in Fl in a few months and will stop at the archives and look through those old records now that I know they were not destroyed. I am so glad I decided to query the list! Brian you have been a great asset to our list....it sure is a help to have someone so knowledgeable out there to guide those of us who are just beginning to search for those elusive ancestors. I am not sure what fascinates me most, the search itself, or finding an answer to a part of the puzzle....... whatever it is, it sure has gotten my attention. Thanks everybody... Dee
