Prospere DeSore Demilly b. ca. 1848 in probably Tallahassee m. M. Eunice Collins. M. Eunice Collins was dau. of Judge Joel Collins of Tallahassee & Monticello and his wife Emily Garwood. Judge Joel Collins was son of Colonel John B. Collins & Mary B. Baugh. Colonel John B. Collins was Quarter Master General of the FL Troops in the Seminole Indian Wars. Col. Collins died "of the prevailing fever" while on active duty at "St. Marks or Port Leon" in 1840. Have much on the Collins line but have never been able to communicate with a Demilly or other Collins descendants. Judge Joel Collins & wife Emily Garwood also had son John Garwood Collins who m. Lillias Crichlow in Tallahassee. John Garwood Collins was founder of the Weekly True Democrat, the predecessor of present day Tallahassee Democrat. would love to communicate with any of this line Anne Futch
