Bill, I checked, but I have no good news. Neither of your men was listed in either section. There were only a couple of Browns who are listed as having died in Hernando 1877-1916, and neither was a William, W., W.A., nor Willie, etc. Remember, of course, that these early records are less hit than miss. The only two Browns who died in Hernando in 1923 were Jeff and Abigal [sic]--nary a Charles by any variant spelling.. Sorry!
