    2. Hello List I have recieved my great grandfather's death certificate from the state and it says he died at the Fla State Hospital eight days after being admitted, on November 30, 1932. No parents names were listed, however we know from the card file at the hospital that his son Joseph H. brought him to the hospital and that there may be a court record in Madison County that would have made Joseph his gardian and given authorization for him to be admitted to the hospital... perhaps a few days or a week prior to him being admitted, possibly around the middle of November. Unfortunately, the hospital destroys all records after seven years, with the exception of the card file. I have asked my Aunt who is 89 years old about this and she says she never heard anything about her grandfather being admitted to the state hospital, but also offered the opinion that people did not talk about those things in front of children in those days. My question is... how would I find out if a record exists of any court proceedings concerning this? Is there anyone in Madison Co. who would do a look up in exchange for me doing a look up of Ga. cenus records or any other info I could help with from Ga.? Any suggestions on how to proceed would be appreciated. Dee
