My John Brown's mother was Tobitha or Tobetha. She would have been married to John's father about 1866-1868 in GA. and was born in GA in 1848. When her Brown husband died she married an Alexander. All of her children, including John (1869), Charlie (1873) and probably a W.A. (1881) were born in GA. The family moved to Trilby, Pasco Co., FL about 1888 and moved between Pasco/Hernando/Hillsborough and Polk Co. before settling in Sumter Co where John and his wife are buried. I am trying to find Tobetha's maiden name and the name of her husband, John's father. Anyone out there have a Tobetha or Tobitha Unknown/Brown/Alexander???? Please drop me a line. Thanks.
