    3. Louise, you are, of course, more than welcome. I enjoy being able to help, as I have been helped by so many for so long. My memory lapse was bothering me, so I checked--and here's "the rest of the story" on Bronough (or, at least, more of it). He was James Bronough. He was an army surgeon and had been Andrew Jackson's personal physician. The first legislative council met in Pensacola but was disrupted by yellow fever, which killed Bronough on 2 September 1822.
