The third annual reunion of descendants of people buried in the Vickers Cemetery in Concord, Gadsden County, FL, will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2005, at thecemetery. Registration fee is $5 and everyone brings a covered dish unless from out-of-town, in which case, for $5 extra, we will provide food for you. Our program will be on the Walsh family in Concord, and our speaker is Barbara Boynton. We will have lots of photo albums with ancestor photos, copies of Barbara Boynton's book on Concord cemeteries, a preview of Angela Cassidy's book featuring hundreds of photographs of deceased people from Concord, and we are having family photographs made by ancestral group. The big family names in this cemetery include Vickers, Walsh, Poppell, Johnson, Laing, Kemp, and Perkins.
