I have received from the NARA homestead applications and was thrilled. My question is: Does anyone know what it means when land was issued under Armed Occupation Act (27 Stat. 502) authority Aug 4, 1842? Is this a land record I should send for also? Will what I receive give me more than just the township and range info? Should this be sent to FL Archives or NARA? Suggestions please. Thanks much Brenda Antal Maitland, FL
