Does anyone have access to the 1860 census of Alabama, probably in the southeast section. I am looking for the family of Jackson Roberts. Wife is Frances and daughters, Lucinda, Arminda, malinda, Amanda, and Mary Frances. New evidence leads to believe they were in Alabama after the census of 1850. In 1850 they were in Lee Co. Ga. By the late 1860s their daughters were in Florida, but no record of the parents have surfaced since 1850. A Jackson Roberts died in Camp Chase Ohio in late 1864 and he was in the cavalry from Alabama. My GG-Gfather was also at Camp Chase and married the second daughter of Jackson Roberts.
