I will be discussing some of the ancient indians that lived in this area as well information about the early pioneers that lived on the river. (Sams,Porcher,Field,Laroche,Dummitt etc) We meet at Cape Marina in Port Canaveral at 1:30 and we will leave there go through the historic barge canal passing an ancient graveyard and then off into the river. It is approx a 3 hour tour. The cost is $25 paid direct to the charter company (see website). Invite your friends and if our numbers are good we can get a discount of only $20 per person. Refreshments are onboard. Things to bring are sunglasses, a jacket if it is chilly, might want to bring a hat or sunscreen if you have sensitve skin.
