Hi, I am trying to gather a list of annual genealogical events that are held throughout Florida. My local Genealogical Society is beginning preparations for a workshop or seminar and we do not want to create a conflict with other genealogical or historical organizations. Just off the top of my head, I know there is are annual events in the following areas: Largo Dates unknown? Indian River County Valentine's Day Volusia County Dates unknown? The Southern Genealogist's Exchange Society, Jacksonville Spring Seminar, March 2006 (Is this an annual event?) Jacksonville Genealogical Society Spring Genealogical Seminar February 2006 (Is this an annual event?) Genealogical Society of Sarasota Late January (Is this an annual event?) Battle of Marianna Reeanactment Early Sept. in Marianna (Is this an annual event?) Genealogical Society of Okaloosa County Early October (Is this an annual event?) And of course there is the Florida State Genealogical Society Conference. The location varies, but I think it is usually held the second weekend in November. If you have more details on any of the past events listed above or know of any upcoming events for 2006 or 2007, I would appreciate any information you can share. Rel@ively, Patrice
