Linnie S. Cook Linnie S. Cook, a native of Greenville and resident of Red Oak Community, Fla., died June 4, 1998. Services were held Sunday, June 7, 1998, at 2 p.m. at Red Oak Baptist Church in the Escambia Farms Community of Baker, Fla. and direcd by Whitehurst Funeral Home of Crestwview, Fla. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests contributions be made toe the Building Fund of Red Oak Baptist Church, 904 Highway C180, Balker, Fla. 32531 in memory of Mrs Cook, or to the Florida Baptist Children's Home, P.O. Box 8190, Lakeland, Fla. 33802-9990. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, J. Elmer Cook, and a son, Morris Cook. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Pat Cook of Baker, Fla., foughr daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Russell Webb, Bobbie and Martin Terrell, Mildred and Gilbert Keaton, all of Crestview, Fla., Sheila E. Johnson, Trenton, Fla.; one daughter-in-law, Shirley P. Cook of Pensacola, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; one sister and brother- in-law, Erma and Jimmy Proveaux og Greenville; one sister-in-law, Frances Smith of Enterprise; and numerous neices and nephews.
