I have heard through the grapevine that there are very early Florida census from the 1700's archived in St. Augustine, but I do not know where. Since I've seen so many inquiries regarding early census, perhaps one of you would like to follow up on this. Hope it helps! Perhaps the local library in St. Augustine would have some information.
