    1. Surname search for Higginbotham and Thompson
    2. I have ordered a copy of my great grandfather's death certificate and have a ten year search ordered to find our when he died inFlorida. I used a credit card and it was not cheap. By doing it this way you get it sooner but it will have cost me about 39.00 and if they do not find out anything I will be out the money. I called the State office in Florida. They are very nice, but it still costs money. Are there any people willing to do lookups on the Florida Census or marriage records or birth records that would not cost an arm and a leg? My William (Doc) Higginbotham married a T. Thompson and she was born in 1870 and he was born in 1859.T. was his 3rd wife. I guess he made the rounds. The 1910 census only shows their names and how old they were at the time and their childrens names and ages. The birth towns and birth dates were not on it. The 1920 census only lists the children and no parents. This new info that he had other wives opens many questions as when he married the others and who child was from which mom. I would love to hear from anyone who has some suggestions for me to try. Margie
