An organized effort by library and historical groups to meet with House/Senate Appropriations members and appear before appropriate committees to object to the closing of the library and transfer of artifacts from Tallahassee. 2. Individual efforts by local constituents to voice their personal concerns with their House members and Senators. In either case, time is limited and decisions on the budget are being made daily. Bottom line, the associated cost is little compared to the overall budget and these historical and reference items are state treasures and should not be transferred or outsourced under any circumstances. Good luck! Doug Representative Doug Wiles Democratic Leader Florida House of Representatives [email protected] District Office - 904-823-4660; 800-775-4197 Capitol Office - 850-488-9622
