I notice the Iowa site carries the logos for USgenweb and the international genweb. The Florida site does not provide any "who are we information" and the only stone uploaded by the webmaster is totally illegible. Unless more information is forthcoming from the owner/sponsor, I, personally, would not participate by providing any information or uploading any photos. Full name would help. Good point Gladys. A prominently placed FloridaGenWeb logo could identify the site as a sponsored project supported by FloridaGenWeb. Typically the members would then jump in to help build it. It looks very good going in, but as usual, might be improved. There will be growing pains, but don't give up Melanie. The web site in question uses the great seal of the state of Florida which is for official use by Florida state government only... but there is no iota of a suggestion that this site is in fact an official site of the government of the state of Florida.
