Let me start by saying that I do not research this family or the surname - I just took a quick look to see if I could find anything. Call it a random act of genealogical kindness. Anyway, I found them in the 1920 census in Palatka Heights, Putnam County, Florida, SD 4, ED 149, Sheet 1B, page 184B, household 25, family 25, National Archives microfilm pub T625, Roll 228 O. H. Philips, Head, R, M, W, 39, M, born in Florida Fannie Philips, Wife, F, W, 39, M, born Florida Doris Philips, daughter, F, W, 11, S, born Florida I also noted that they were still in Clay County as of September 12, 1918, when Obediah Phillips signed a World War I Draft Registration card there. The registration gives his date of birth as 4 April 1881. And he was probably the Obediah Phillips that died in 1945 in Duval County. Good Hunting! I am trying to find Obediah and Fannie Phillips in the 1920 Clay Co or Duval Co, FL Census.....I was able to locate them in the 1910 Clay Co, FL Census, he was under Obe H. Phillips, age 28.....Fannie was 28 also...and they had one child, Dorris who was 1 yrs old. Also I found them in the 1930 Duval Co, FL Census, they were under Obediah H. Phillip, no s at the end of Phillips.....he was 49 yrs old.....Fannie was 48 and they had no children living with them.... So I am assuming they would be in Clay Co, FL....I found Obediah in the WWI Draft Reg....as living in Clay.....in the 1920 census....but they could be either in Clay or Duval..... Appreciate any help in locating them and finding out if they had anymore children....thank you.... Stephanie Grohol
