Rhonda, Look again at my previous posting. I said that Wm. L. died in 1928 in Escambia County. Pensacola is the seat, and it's a very long way from Tampa, though it could be he. Are you not sure of the "H"? As I said, the 1935 IS a state census. It's on film at the Florida State Archives, the Jacksonville Public Library, the Miami-Dade, and probably several other major collections. I believe that your nearest LDS Family History Library can get it for you, too. The FL State Archives has the original sheets and will check it for you (used to be a $5 fee, a real bargain!)if you can get a street address from voting records, city directories, tax records, or the like. He was "living near Eagle Lake" WHEN? Is Eagle Lake a town too, or just a lake? As to the brother, Levi: one Levi V. Creel died in Tampa in 1939, so I'd try to get an address for him for the 1935 census, too. By the way, Polk (Bartow) and Hillsborough (Tampa) Counties are contiguous counties. There is also a 1945 FL state census at the archives, by the way--also unindexed, and much bigger. Where are you? May be a closer source...
