Good News! The 1790-1870 AISI census indexes are now up. They are available through www.ancestry.com. Unfortunately, you must be a member, but at this rate if they keep this up, I would definitely pay. Remember, the AISI indexes are not perfect. They still do not have the past errors corrected. But, this is a great start because they are asking you to help them by providing the corrections as you find them. They also have the American Genealogical and Biographical Index which indexes hundreds of family histories, the Boston Transcripts and the 1790 census. You cannot miss this! Have fun!
