Dear cousins, I am going on an Easter break for two weeks, but then, would like to try again with my dead ends in Apalachicola Peter Sweeney was in 1850 Franklin Co census (age 35) with wife Mary (age 33), both from Ireland, and son Thomas, age 8, born Florida. Later (1890's) I find some Sweeney folks in Escambia Co and Columbia Co. Don't know if there is a connection. Anyway, then I have Catherine Sweeney, GGgrandmother, mother of Nellie Wilson, born 1879, in Apalachicola. So Catherine has a possible age to be sister of Thomas? But where did she come from? Or better, where did Peter and family go? Catherine Sweeney was the 2nd wife of John (Jack) Wilson, and had three children with him: Nellie, Emma, and Eddie, all born in Apalachicola. He later married Lousia Levy and had several other children. Don't know who his first wife was. He was born in Florida, Family history says born in Apalachicola, parents killed, adopted by other family. Any ideas???? Regards, Charlene
