Pat, The University of Florida has a microfilm collection of old Florida newspapers. The collection is of what was found so most papers are not continuous unless they are major newspapers. The University of Florida is in Gainesville. I found searching their online catalog "The Dayton Daily News" which began 1903 and ceased 1926. They have a microfilm record of Jan. 1, through Feb. 27 for 1922.
