    3. Okay all of you history experts I have a question for you. I found a circa 1912 profile/interview of a cousin, William Lafayette Jerkins, in which he said that his great grandfather (and my gggg grandfather) Zachariah Jerkins (also frequently listed as Judkins) had founded the first stage coach line between Tallahassee, FL and Tuscaloosa, AL. This would have been sometime in the late 1820's to around 1837. Zachariah was in Tallahassee by 1827, and he did travel several time back and froth to Dale County, Al. Also, Tuscaloosa was the I am looking for recommendations on how to pursue evidence as to whether or not this piece of family folklore is true or not. Suggestions? Ideas? Jack Butler
