My gguncle William Henry Bacon received a land grant in Putnam Co, It is record FLO580-013 in the BLM database. He had a brother, Waddy A. Bacon, my ggrandfather, with whom I believe he was in the restaurant business . This is third hand information from a Mississippi cousin. I do know that the brothers were in business together most of their lives. Waddy, homesteaded on Sarasota Bay around 1876. I would appreciate any information available or where to seek it.
