To everyone who has been waiting to hear from me either via email or snail mail: I've been having some severe pain in the neck (not my husband this time) and I saw the doctor this afternoon. He said it was not just pain; I was being paralyzed. So he scheduled me for emergency cervical spine surgery tomorrow morning. Should be back on the computer soon. Will be in touch.
