Hi Listers I'm in need of help in obtaining BC and information in and about the state of New York. Is there knowledgeable person on this list that could point me in the correct direction? I know this is our Florida list but I've never researched a lot state side and really I need to move my research here now. Your help would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for information on Jacob Washington DIMOND who died in London, England in 1881 and on the Census it reads that he was born in New York, so you see this is my reason for seeking research ideas for the state of New York.
