    3. William, The 1935 and 1945 State Census are available to the public although there are some precincts missing. The state archives has a copy as does various public libraries around the state. The Family History Library, though, does not have a copy of either. You might want to look at Ann S. Lainhart's book "State Census Records" (Baltimore: Genealogical Publishing Co., 1992). If you post a query to the FL county list that you are interested in, you might find someone with the information for that particular county.
