    1. Re: ?? State Census
    2. Hello Florida, The 1935 Florida Census for Brevard County is currently being transcribed by the Brevard Genealogical Society (BGS) and members of the North and South Brevard Genealogical Societies. When complete it will be added to our website at http://rootsweb.com/~flbgs/. The 1885 Brevard Florida Census is already transcribed and online at: http://rootsweb.com/~flbgs/census/1885/index.html. BGS has also paid S-K Publications to have the 1850 - 1930 Federal Population Censuses for Brevard scanned and uploaded to RootsWeb. These are located at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/fl/brevard/census/ Most of the Federal Census has been transcribed and is available online at more that one site. Often even the subscription sites can be freely accessed at your local library. But the State Census is not as easily available. I would like to suggest that other Florida Genealogical Societies take on the project and transcribe the extant Florida Censuses for their own counties. The transcription could be added to your own website or to the FL GenWeb Archives or any website.
