    1. Cemetery/Obituary Look Up HAVEN JOHNSON
    2. I am new to this list and I am hoping someone can do a look up for me. I am trying to locate an obituary and burial location of my father in law, HAVEN JOHNSON. He died January 24,1996 in Brooksville in Hernando County, Florida. His date of birth was March 30, 1921. I believe he was born in Indiana. We lost contact with him years ago when he moved to Florida from Indiana. Hernando County has a very nice on line search site, but I was unable to find his death registered. Thank you in advance for any assistance. I have watched several of these lists, and I know that listers can find almost anything. Jo Johnson _JoJohn714@aol.com_ (mailto:JoJohn714@aol.com)

    1. Eye appointment and reunion report
    2. R.B. Roberts
    3. Irene's eyes are coming along fine. The Dr removed two more stiches out of one eye and three out of the other. He said her vision is improving. The corena is looking good also. Had to change her drops because the steroids he was using was too stron and it was making the pressure in one eye too high. Got to go back next Friday to check about the pressure. It was 31 and should be below 20. The reunion went great, had about 75 children and all there. It was held at the old homestead Roberts place which has been in the Roberts family now over 100 years. It is supposed to be there again next year. It isn't but 392 miles up to Chipley, Florida. Quite a drive for me but I made it if I am a little bushed. Take care RBR

    1. Help needed to continue cemetery surveys
    2. Hi! The following is posted with the kind permission of our List Administrator: I received the following plea for aid. These people seem to do a good job and need help to continue. Old computers, memory, camera memory or if you are so inclined a small donation. This is a 501 3c organization, so any donations are tax deductible. Every little bit of help is deeply appreciated. You can view their work at: http://www.cemeterysurveysinc.com/ Rel@ively, Patrice Brevard Genealogical Society, Webmaster >We are located in the Western NC/Northern GA/Eastern TN area/Western SC, >but all of our travels include cemeteries, therefore we have listings from >a number of States. > >Our problem is, right now, that we have done all the cemeteries within a >50 mile radius of our homes. 2. June 8, 2005 PRESS RELEASE: Plant City, Florida, an ever growing small town of Central Florida’s Interstate 4 corridor, is rich in local history. Incorporated as a town in 1885, Plant City’s well-documented history includes three historic districts and five individual historic sites listed on the local and National Register of Historic Sites. While it is said, “that a picture is worth a thousand words,” postcards can relate the pictorial history of your life, from generations past to present. Plant City in Vintage Postcards includes more than 150 postcards from the collection of The Quintilla Geer Bruton Archives Center of the East Hillsborough Historical Society. Postcards of different eras and types include those of the businesses, churches, homes, people and schools which tell the story of Plant City and its growth and development. The postcards of hotels, motels, cabins and tourist homes tell the stories of where residents and visitors stayed while enjoying their stay in Plant City. The Quintilla Geer Bruton Archives Center is the genealogy and family history library of The East Hillsborough Historical Society, a nonprofit organization formed in 1974. Located in the historic 1914 Plant City High School, the Society and its entities are dedicated to the preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of Plant City and eastern Hillsborough County. FYI, the Url does not work . ObitsArchive.com is the largest and most comprehensive collection of newspaper obituaries and death notices in the United States. Each obituary or death notice is indexed by the name of the deceased person, to make searching easier and more precise. In addition, the text of each obituary or death notice is searchable, making it easy to find just what you're looking for using a place of residence, occupation, names of family members, or other personal information. http://oa.newsbank.com/
