    3. Stephanie, you will come nearer getting help on a county site. You can locate on the county sites by going to www.rootsweb.com and scroll down to State and county rootsweb sites and go from there. Also, in Georgia as well as Alabama there is a Census lookup list. You are allowed to ask for one look up every so often. Florida does not have a list for that.

    3. you can rent the microfilm of census records at your local latter day saints family history library for very little cost...or subscribe to the census images at ancestry.com or genealogy.com...numerous local libraries offer access to heritage quest census records with membership... also - if you search specific location at rootsweb.com - you will find many census records have been transcribed... this site has many links to free online census records: http://www.census-online.com/ Links to Online Census Records The web's largest directory of links to online census transcriptions! This directory includes links to federal censuses and indexes, state and territorial censuses, tax lists, voter lists, military pensioner lists, etc. you seem to be researching many, many different surnames - might be beneficial to post queries on the message boards for your surnames at ancestry.com and genealogy.com... and i am sure all the other researchers would appreciate it if you would share your family tree by posting online...never know when you might make contact with person researching the same family... have you searched the family group sheets already submitted at rootsweb?? http://www.rootsweb.com/~usfgs/ and info at latter day saints site? http://www.familysearch.org/ there is a lot info out there online you can benefit from - you don't have to live in the state you are researching to obtain info... and most genealogical / historical societies have a lot of info online: The USGenNet Index of Online U.S. State and Local Historical & Genealogical Societies http://www.usgennet.org/socadmin/ i see that you are a star trek fan...too bad there are no more series to be had on tv now... good luck!! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joe & Steph Grohol Jr" <joeandsteph@cqservices.com> To: <FLORIDA-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, August 28, 2005 4:31 PM Subject: [FLORIDA] Seeking Aldridge Dyal in the 1900 Census/FL Hi... 3. I've been looking for Edward R. Mauser for 20 years off and on. I haven't seen or heard from him for 52 years. He was born 11/30/1924, lived in Queens County, New York. Married my mother, Marie E. Pattnosh at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, May 7, 1949. I had gotten all the information that I needed in order to help me find him from 2 Churches in New York. The one church where my father was baptised at had also told me my grandmothers name: Clara Fallatik -Mauser and my grandfathers name: Edward Mauser. That was so wonderful I had no idea what there names were. Since I now know that I can try and find family from her side. Out of all the Edward Mausers and Edward R. Mausers. I have found only 1 Edward R. Mauser that was born in the year 1924 and lives in North Port, Florida but no phone number, so that means that I need to write to this man. The only thing is I don't know what to say. Is there someone who may be able to help me in what to say? I would appreciate that. This is scary Cynthia

    1. Writing Family History; adding measures of fun, recipes, star charts?
    2. Ray Osborne
    3. Hi, As I am writing my article on this topic I want to research people who have added measures of fun to the Family History. I see some writers incorporate family recipes which seems like a delicious idea. Year after year at Thanksgiving Aunt Martha's recipe for stuffing get ritually baked. Anybody have a testimonies where recipes have been included? As a child of the Aquarian Age I wonder if anybody has done any star charts on their ancestors. Just for entertainment purposes of course. Or even have some ancestor's handwriting analyzed. Historically yours, Ray __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
