    2. Teresa Delikat
    3. Dear Genealogy List Members, I am awed by the response to my query sent Tuesday evening (December 20) for information on Ovidio Parra Castro. I posted this query for my dear friend & co-worker. We only found out yesterday morning that Ovidio Parra Castro was his Grandfather. My friend’s Mother Linda Castro Myers (Ovidio’s daughter) was killed one day before my friend turned 3 years old and he grew up knowing nothing about his Mother or her family. In 24 hours, I received over 30 replies with census, military, social security information and more. All of this helped me to confirm that the Ovidio Castro we sought was the newborn son of Eliseo and Amelia (Parra) Castro on the 1930 census in Tampa Florida. With this information, I was able to connect today with a nephew of Ovidio’s. His Mother, Ovidio’s youngest sister, has confirmed the connection!! Thanks to all of you who replied, my friend is in now in contact with members of his Mother’s family. What a Wonderful Christmas gift you have given him!!!! From the both of us, THANK YOU!!
