    3. Hi John, Much to my chagrin, the hours are Mon thru Fri 8-5pm. The same hours I work. However, on Sat they are open from 9-3 pm. Yeah!!! They have an excellent web site. I went to Yahoo.com, typed in "Florida State Archives", with the quotation marks, and got this URL: http://www.dos.state.fl.us/dlis/barm/fsa.html You'd be amazed at what you can learn by giving Yahoo a try. 3. The Florida State Archives has a whole series of those "clippings" books for various Georgia Counties, but by no means anywhere near the total of 159 counties. I have used the Thomas County book, but cannot say for sure that they have the Decatur County book. The Florida State Archives web site has a searchable index, however; and you should be able to look that or anything else you are interested in there, if the Archives is a suitable research location to you. <G> RW Ida Boyce wrote: > > Dixie: > The Decatur Co. 3. Hart, The Orlando area and the St. Petersburg area are widely separated and have different newspapers, libraries, etc. You'll need to specify which location each death occurred so any potential volunteers can offer a lookup in his/her area. Good luck. 2. Cindy, I checked out the site but cannot find any explanation of what their code is all about. I am looking for a Royal Palm Cemetery in Pinellas County and it lists it on the directory but gives absolutely no info on it. Does not even list an address Which I really would like to get.
