The family relocated to Escambia Co., FL where it is believed that he was an Elder at the Little FLock Primitative Baptist Church located west of Molina near Barrineau Park. The earlies grave in the adjecent cemetery is dated 1912, thus had not been established when William Daivd died in 1911. The grave of Cannis Wilson lists her name as Cannis M. Wilson. Since I have been unable to located marriage record for she and Wm. D., I wonder if the "M" could be for Morgan. Perhaps that is why they were buried in the Morgan Cemetery. Land records incdicate that Wm. David Wilson owned land to the west of the now Barrineau Park area near an old community known as Muskcogee. 1. New FSGS Sites!
    2. Pam Hall
    3. FSGS has added three new sites recently to help genealogy societies and individual researchers in Florida. 1) Speaker's Bureau - This was announced in November. But, we have now added five new speakers and rearranged the site for easier access to each of the speaker's credentials and geographic areas. Anyone may use this site, they do not need to be a member of FSGS. Contacting the speaker and making the arrangements is between the society and the speaker. FSGS does not become involved. We are only providing a list. http://www.rootsweb.com/~flsgs/speakers.htm 2) Projects Registry - Announced earlier, this site will help to register any and all genealogy projects by individuals or societies. It is extremely important that before you start a project, that you make certain others are not doing the same thing. Won't you please register and avoid duplication? http://www.rootsweb.com/~flsgs/projects.htm 3) Calendar of Events - This is the newest and we hope a very beneficial site for all societies. We hope that it will help to avoid calendar conflicts of events. It is also beneficial to individuals to locate a seminar, class or any genealogy event they would like to attend. Arrangment is in order of date and place. Just click on the speaker's name and you can find out more about the event and who to contact. Please send all additions and corrections to me. http://www.rootsweb.com/~flsgs/events.htm Enjoy! -- Pamela J. Hall Florida History & Genealogy Dept. 1. Primitive Bapt Church at Mascotte
    2. Joseph D. Cash
    3. Does anyone on the list know where the Primitive Bap't . Church off Bay Lake road out of Mascotte is? What is the name of it? I understand there is a cemetery there also. My GGG Gfather was a Preacher in that area and is buried at Fender's Cem. on Bay Lake Rd. I've never found a church that he pastored and this could be it. He died after 1885 and was in the Sumter Co. census then listed as a Minister. That agrees with family tradition. He was Caleb Griffin born in Ga. 1818 and married Emily Carver. Can anyone help? Thanks Denton Cash Wauchula Fl.
