Hi List, You have all done so well with questions so far this week that i am sure mine won't pose any difficulties. I found court minutes circa 1817 which said the following: "A sorrell horse, about 4 years old, white on both hind feet and a white streak down the face. Appraised at $20. Posted before Lovet Rives, Esq. by Zachariah Judkins" Anyone have any idea what this transaction might be about? Any and all assistance is appreciated. Jack Butler
Kevin, Zephyrhills is in the County of Pasco and the county seat is Dade City. The court address is 38053 Live Oak Avenue, Dade City, FL 33525 with a phone number of 352-521-4546. Charlene, I don't recognize you names right off, but I'll check with my contacts to see if I can find out anything for you. I'm checking for Bobbye also, so it's no problem. Bobbye, none of the names are familiar off-hand, but I'll check around and see if any of my "contacts" have heard of the families. Bill willbees@mediaone.net BOBBYE wrote: > Yes I am. Can anyone tell me how to request a copy of a probate record in Florida. My paternal great-aunt Lenore M. Bertelsen 1-19-1896 passed away in Zephyrhills, FL on December 24, 1982. I'm hoping that the document will fill in some blanks and let me know if she had any living heirs. Thanks for the help. Kevin O'Brien Laguna Hills, CA
Hello all: Does anybody recognize this family of Hudson's? I am interested in knowing who were the parents of Isaac and Evelina, and where they were born. They do not appear on Ga. Census after 1850..... I find Evelina and two children on the Hamilton Co. Fla census of 1880......... don't know where they were in between those years, although we have found a record of an Isaac Hudson who enlisted during the Civil War at Lake City, Columbia Co. Fla., 1861 and died during the war.. (I have not had access to the Fla census records since finding that bit of information) I will list them below........ If anybody has access to the Fl census index or any information on ANY of these people I would like to hear from you. Dooley County Georgia 1850 Isaac Hudson age 44 Evelina age 35 James age 17 John age 14 Elwood age 12 Richard age 10 Frances age 8 Martha C. age 6 Enoch H. age 4 By 1880 ...... Hamilton Co. Fla Evelina Hudson age 68 Thomas C. - son - age 22 Martha E. Shiver - dau - age 34 Laura C. Shiver - dau - age 10 Thanks in advance, Dee
