Hi...to all the list... Wanted to say this....apparently our ISP had inadvertantly put Rootsweb mailing lists on their spam service....so if we were bouncing or something, it was our ISP acting up and all. I emailed them and talked to them....and I received an email earlier saying they believed that they have solved the problem. I hope so....if anyone gets this email, please email me and tell me that someone on the list received it so I know you got this message. I would hate to have to reenlist all the lists that we are on because of our ISP. So please respond to this email so I know it is still working... Stephanie Grohol

Could anyone please help me out by giving me directions to the Oakside Cemetery in Zephyrhills from the interstate. I would be coming towards Tampa from Jacksonville. I think it's I-75 or I-4. Thanks so much. I will be stopping at the cemetery Thanksgiving Holiday to visit my Great Grandparents graves. Greetings. I seem to have several members of the Hannay (h) families i`m searching for that immigrated and settled in Florida from Scotland. I would be interested in contact with anyone with Hannay ancestors that are interested in locating information on their early ancestors from this region. I have traced my Hannay`s to Wigtownshire in the S/W of Scotland c 1750. Best Regards Wayne Hannay .. [email protected] Please visit: `What`s in a Name? ... I am seeking the descendants of Cornelia Iola Sessions and William A. Pert. They married in Madison Co. 14 Dec 1876, he served in the C.W. from Madison, was in Palatka, Putnam Co. in 1903 and died in Lafayette Co. in 1906. Is buried in Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Madison. In his pension papers in 1906 mentions they have two sons and two daughters, the youngest 13 year old Julie. Cornelia was born 2 Feb 1854 and died 7 Nov 1949 in Jacksonville, buried Restlawn Memorial, Jacksonville. The informant on her death certificate was Mrs. F. W. Tredinick who, if a family member, was probably a grand-daughter since her husband was born in 1915. Any information appreciated. Leslie
There's an informal procedure for very small estates. The Florida Statutes are in the Florida Legislature's Online Sunshine web site: http://www.leg.state.fl.us/Welcome/index.cfm You want to look at 735.301 "Disposition without administration", and if that doesn't fit look further at Title XLII. You can still use the on-line census at family search.org. They allow you to search using only the first name and a location. Or, you could go to Andrew Dyess's location and look at who his neighbors are - you can use the "previous household" and "next household" links to check out the neighbors. My Mom recently passed away in Florida. She had a will, but her estate--consisting of money and a cemetery plot--was less than $1000. Are there any circumstances under which a will does not have to be probated? Any information is greatly appreciated. John

Let me explain why I need someone with access to the entire census. Here is my sad story. Rebecca Thompson daughter of Polly Thompson married Andrew J. Dyess and had Emma and Mary. (Thank you for just providing this information to me.) Rebecca Thompson had a sister Phearby (Fairby) who was supposed to be married to the brother of Andrew. They had Anna and Cassie. It is possible that Phearby was not married to his brother, but someone else. She probably would have lived nearby. I have been attempting to break down this wall for years and this is the first information I have gained in years. Thanks to you all. Now if I can find Phearby with children Anna and Cassie one more mystery will be solved. Thanks for your help. Faye
