    3. The Florida State Genealogical Soc. has received a letter from a man in KY who is seeking information on the descendants of Charles Raymond Wyatt who died in Lakeland 24 Feb 1991. He gives very limited information since that is all that he has. Indicates that Charles may have had sons but doesn't know them but by their nicknames - he didn't supply the nicknames, number of sons or approximate date of birth only that they may have been born in St. Louis, MO. The FLDI indicates that Charles was born in 1940 and appears on the SSDI with only date of birth and date of death - no location. Know this is a long shot - but if anyone has any information I would appreciate it. Leslie Jeffcoat Maddocks FSGS Membership Chair

    3. When and where did W. P. Kelly/Kelley die? I did not find any one close to the name on the 1880 census. Perhaps he actually used the name that started with the letter P. 2. Hi If anyone is researching the above surnames I would like to hear from you. Also I have the first names of two ladies and need the surnames. Is there a first name search program available via the Internet? I'm helping a lady find her mother's maiden name if that is possible. She has first names of: Irene and Despina. The family settled in Nassau County coming from West Virginia early 1900. SJC

    2. For anyone interested in Florida history, the New York Public Library has put a substantial portion of its collections online in the form of an art gallery which includes places and at least one map. Explore Cities and Buildings brings up a search box and if you type Florida, for example, you'll find a large number of old photographs and postcards of places and people specific to Florida. http://digitalgallery.nypl.org/nypldigital/index.cfm Libby

    1. Robert Benjamin and Addie (Ada Hodges) O'Steen/GA - FL
    2. Joe & Steph Grohol Jr
    3. Hi... I recently discovered another connection to my family tree....I was doing research with the help of Rosie Crews...when I discovered that Andrew Jackson Hodges (the son of Willis Aaron and Mahalia Johns Hodges) who had married Angeline Cowart actually had two children and not one that was was previously thought....I discovered that their children were James Perry and Addie Hodges....Previously thought was James Perry was their only child before they "divorced"...now I was able to find that they had 2...I was able to find out that Addie was their child when I went searching for what had happened to Angeline Cowart Hodges.....and discovered that she was living with her daughter Addie who had married Robert Benjmain O'Steen.....and she continued living with them through the 1930 census....also James Perry Hodges also lived with them until the 1920 census when so far he hasn't been found in 1920...but he was found in the 1930 census, married.... Addie was born May 1882 and died either in 1963 or 1966 in Duval Co, FL, married Robert O'Steen in Charlton Co, GA in Dec of 1897....and they had 6 children....Nettie, Robert Morgan, Perry Warren, Leroy, Ruby V., and Jesse W. I am seeking information on the children...I do know Robert Morgan married Anna Belle Mullis....and living in the home of James Perry Hodges....appreciate any help... James Perry Hodges, born May 1883 and died in 1945 in Duval Co, FL, he married Mary Louise Pringle....he was the stepfather to George Paul and Alberta Canova....and the father to Ola Hodges....appreciate any help in trying to find more information on this family too.... Appreciate any help and thank you..... Stephanie Grohol

    1. Edward Lester Dowling/Questions
    2. Joe & Steph Grohol Jr
    3. Hi... I am seeking some help in trying to figure out where Edward Lester Dowling comes in...I have some information that states that he is the son of Lashum and Cleopatria Crews Dowling.....but the info I found has that she died in 1918 in Baker Co, FL...and Lashum died in 1922 in Baker Co, FL....and I do not have a birth date for Edward..so I am not certain where he comes in as a child of Lashum and Cleopatria.....I am thinking if he is their son then he had to have been born between 1916 when Lashum and Cleopatria married and 1918 when she died.....and also there was a daughter who married John William Stovell Jr.... Appreciate any help in trying to figure out this mystery....and thank you... Stephanie Grohol
