Listmembers, I am new to the list. My great grandparents, Henry and Maud Luella Wey OYER moved to Citra about 1885. They had purchased land there in 1884. He was the justice of the peace and the postmaster--I do not know how long or when. They had 3 children living at this time, Tracie, Herbert Maurice and Maud. They are listed in the 1900 Citra Marion Fla Census By 1910 they had moved and are listed in the St. Lucie Florida Census. I would appreciate hearing from anyone about Citra in those years. Is there are history of this area? Maud's parents, William H and Permelia A. WEY died in 1885/6 and are buried in the Citra Cemetery. Is there someone who could take a picture of the graves for me? I would gladly pay the going rate. Thanks in advance for any information about CITRA or the OYERs. Sheila from Alaska casperfamily@mosquitonet.com
