He was only taken ill Thursday and though all was done for him that could be, he died Monday at 5am. The body was laid to rest in the family burial ground beside his little boy at Fort McCoy, Tuesday afternoon. He leaves a devoted wife, loving father, mother, several brothers and sisters to mourn his death. He was bookkeeper at Atwater's camps out from Palatka and was liked by all who knew him. Mrs Wellhoner's mother, Mrs. Sherouse, and two brothers, JE and DT Sherouse, attended the funeral. She has the sympathy of her many friends here. He was born in Ocala, Florida on June 13, 1987 and grew up in Palm Bay, Florida. He was a 2005 graduate of Bayside High School and moved to Savannah in 2006. Although he faced many challenges, he always came through. His smile will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his sister, Stephanie Marie Dittenber.
