Smith, 77, of Fort Myers, passed away on Friday. A native of Coalgate, OK. Mr. Smith has been a resident of Fort Myers since 1968 coming from Brazil. He was a Mason and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Fort Myers. He is survived by his wife Kay Smith; a daughter; Julia Alice Smith, of Nyack. NY; a son and daughter-in-law, Brien R. and Karen L. Smith of Brooksville, FL; three sisters, Gertrude Harris of Sunnymead, CA, Lola Monhollon of Richmond, VA; and Loretta Gholson of Texas; and one grandson. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10am at First United Methodist Church with Ministers Donald F. Padgett, pastor, and James C. Charnley, associated pastor, officiating.
