Mrs. Brown moved here in 1974 from Arlington, Va. and was a member of Cape Coral United Methodist Church, the Cape Coral Historical Society, the National Capital Area Social Club, Club 76 and the C.C.R.C. She is survived by her niece, Mrs. Jessie Eckhardt of Cape Coral and three brothers: Walter S. Phelps, Jr. of Arlington, Va., Nelson B. Phelps of Silver Springs, Md. and Milton Phelps of College Town, Tenn. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10 a.m. in the Chapel of The Metz Ffuneral Home with Rev. Alan Patz officiating.
