Hello Brenda; I am trying to research my mother's family on Boca Grande. She was born 13 Jan 1912 Beulah Jospehine Jones. Her parents were Allen Jones and Genevieve (? or some variation) Dooley. Her parents died when she was very young and she was raised on Boca Grande by a grandmother. I do not know which grandmother, but she was a seamstress. I believe that Allen Jones may have been killed in some type of work related accident - may be on a dock. Mother married in about 1928or29 and left Boca Grande.
