I know you said you did not find anything but I don`t recall if you said what records you searched? The ssdi shows: > MARY BRENAMAN 04 Jul 1905 25 Dec 1987 Last Residence 33940 > which is a zip code no longer in use. One postal worker suggested it might be Cape Coral(33904) but if not there then it would surely be in the Ft. Myers area. I also have learned that the Last Residence is not necessarily where the person lived at dod and certainly may not be where they were buried. Cousin Mary was listed in Uncle Cleve`s obit (1948) as a resident of San Franscisco. We have a1958 letter from her mother postmarked Pismo Beach, CA, which could have been the home of either Mary or her Mother at that time. When Mary lived in zip code 33940 is still a mystery. Does anyone have access to a 1987 city directory(Ft. Myers or Cape Coral), and would be willing to do a look-up for me? That would at least solve part of the mystery.
