    3. Thanks so much for sending me the obit on Frieda Oxley. Is this any relation to your family? I was searching for this at the request of a cousin in England. Someone else had sent it to me, but when I forwarded it to my cousin, it unfortunately was the wrong Frieda Oxley. The one my cousin is looking for was an Oxley by birth, not marriage. I thought that if this is a name that's connected with your family, you might know of another Frieda Oxley. If this is not the case and you were just answering the request of someone on the board, then thank you for your kindness.

    3. FORT MYERS NEWS-PRESS, Nov. 6, 1966--Freida S. Oxley, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 4, at her home in Fort Myers, where she has resided with her son-in-law and daughters for the past two years. She was formerly at Baskin Ridge, NJ and Jersey City, NJ. Ms. Oxley, wife of the late Henry Oxley, is survived by her sister, Edna Pflaum of Phippsberg, Maine, her sister-in-law, Emily Schiller of Jersey City, NJ, two daughters, Elizabeth Langston of Ft. Myers and Marilyn Collins of Palm Coast, FL, 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held Saturday evening at her home in Ft. Myers. Funeral services and interment will be held in Jersey City, NJ. Local arrangements by memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd.

    3. may not be relevant but my grandmother on my fathers side was a Mercer - Jane Proctor Mercer born in Ireland 1861 and married Joseph Leggett -I think in New Zealand about 1890 and died in NZ August 1946 with a family of 2 girls and 2 boys. Best of luck
