I found in the WPA (Works Progress Administration): COOK William Hardy 1826 1892 Civil War, Pvt - Co F 6th Fla Regt Inf He is in cemetery 133, Cook and Beauchamp Cemetery - located in Section 3, Township 3N, Range 9W. I've not been able to locate this cemetery. Perhaps someone might know its location? I didn't find James COOK; but I did see John W. COOK and Thomas COOK. I also checked a survey of 130 or so cemeteries done circa 1960 and did no locate a listing for a James COOK. Very few headstones of the 19th century are still around and legible, unfortunately. Hope this helps. James Cook died sometime between 1880 and 1885, and Hardy was a CW veteran who died I think in 1896. Any help appreciated! >>
