I am looking for any info regarding my father's first wife, Evelyn Enfinger. She and my father, John Calvin (J.C. or Jake) Yon, were married in Holmes Co, FL in August 1930. I heard that they lived around the Graceville area (or near the FL/AL line) during their short marriage. They had a stillborn son, J. E. Yon, born and died July 8, 1932. I find no record of their divorce or my father's marriage to my mother, Jane R. Chester (who was from Havana, Gadsden Co, FL). John was living with his mother in the Cottondale area in the 1935 state census. I assume he and Evelyn were either divorced or separated by then. John was with my mother in Havana, FL by 1940. Both my parents are dead; I have no clue as to what happened to Evelyn. She may have remarried. No one knows where the child is buried. My father was born in 1910, so I would assume Evelyn was born about the same time, give or take a few years. I am looking for any info regarding my father, Evelyn and their son so I can fill in a few blanks for my research. Thanks for any help. Liz Gerlits Palm Bay, FL
