Ethel J Carter was my father's older sister who died in childhood from a fever as my dad recalled. My father is Woodrow W. Carter who is the last of the eight children of Benjamin F. Carter and Ellen Blue Carter who moved to Rapides Parish, Louisiana in the 1920's. My dad is 89 and in poor health. Adaline Augusta Miller Blue is Ellen Blue Carter's mother, or Granmaw Miller as my father refers to her. I have a book published in the 50' s or 60's with lots of information about Moss Hill Church and some of the early families.
