My sister and I are trying to find obituaries and other public type announcements that may be in the Marianna or Jackson County news papers. I contacted the Jackson County Floridan and the lady I talked to said that their microfiche only went back to about 1928. She didn't know if there was a paper in Marianna prior to that (Im sure there was). Are these records located anywhere on the web or archived anywhere that anyone knows about? Anyway, is there anyone down there that would do some research (we are willing to pay reasonable hourly wages) for us? Avery Freeman Aurora, Colorado.
