Jeff, I remember the army surplus store, but we are talking about a different place. The Parramore in Jackson County was up on the Chattahoochee River about fifteen miles north of Sneads. That said, you are right. The Army Surplus Store by U.S.90 over in Gadsden County was a boy's dream.
