Hello all, I am trying to find any info on two LITTLETON brothers that lived and bought land in Jackson Co, FL in the 1820's-1840's. They moved to Louisiana about 1849 and are on the 1850 LA census. Thomas D Littleton b 1805 NC William Littleton b 1807 NC I know a Thomas Littleton signed a petition to the government in 1824 in Jackson Co, FL seeking to keep land speculators out of FL but this Thomas would have only been 19 years old. Is that possible or could his father have been a Thomas Littleton also living there. I'm trying to figure out who their father might be. Does anyone have access to any records that might help me. Maybe the 1820, 30, 40 LA census showing the LITTLETON heads of households? Thomas and William were both married and having children in Jackson Co in the 1830's and 40's so there should be at least an entry for each of them.
