Dale, My family lived in North Florida, over near Jacksonville. My grandparents were in Marianna. (my parents grew up there) We spent every other christmas there for 15-20 years. There were always 2 things that I looked forward to the most... (1) at Christmas - the ride through the boys school. (2) Coming through Chattahoochee, we would ride down "thrill hill" and then I loved the sound of the Clip-Clop going across the old bridge.. that was where the"time changed" and it was sorta magical to a little girl from the sticks! Thanks for reminding me.... Dianne > > They don't do the Christmas display these days. I remember that well from > my > childhood too.
